I'm an experienced cellist, violinist, violist, and electric bassist currently playing with
singer-songwriter Nils Erickson. Nils and I are looking for a drummer right now - let us

I have been playing with bands and songwriters for over a decade. I enjoy creating my own
parts to songs, ranging from background accompaniment to higher register counterpoint
with the vocal line, and am comfortable as both an improviser and composer. I happily take
suggestions and can easily take something you've worked out on your own instrument or
written down and either play it exactly or use it as the basis of my improvisation.
Musicians I have worked with include Nils Erickson, Alison Wood, Christian Samatis, Mike
Murray, Jonny Pape, Boys Suck (now called The Motion Sick), Andrew Boyd, Boxborough,
and Not Quite Right.
A few of my favorite bands are the Counting Crows, Ryan Adams, Dar Williams, Jack
Johnson, Rhett Miller and the Old 97s, Norah Jones, Gillian Welch, Tribalistas, Ani
DiFranco, Greg Brown, John Gorka, The Lemonheads, Lucinda Williams, The Wailin'
Jennys, Meg Hutchinson, Paris Combo, and Wilco.
For recordings, I am pretty well open to all genres and band configurations! If you are
looking for a recording or sound engineer, I highly recommend Traveling Monkey Sound.
For gigs, I like to have the melodic freedom of a thinner texture, so solo artists or more
acoustic-based bands are my preference. If you have a website or myspace page,
definitely pass that along when you fill out my contact form.
